- Description
- The Maui District State Parks office is soliciting quotes for pest control services at Waianapanapa State Park in Hana, Maui. Please see attachment for scope of work.
Treatment services shall include preventative/general termite control, rats, mice and other rodents, and nuisance pests including, but not limited to, roaches, spiders, centipedes, ants, and similar pests.
Services shall be provided once per month at the following facilities:
Twelve (12) recreational rental cabins
One (1) caretaker's residence/office
One (1) public comfort station
Services shall include appropriate interior and exterior pest-control treatment, including spraying, baiting, trapping, placement and maintenance of bait stations, and other pest-control measures as necessary.
The Contractor shall be responsible for furnishing, installing, maintaining, replacing, and replenishing all materials and equipment necessary to provide the required pest-control services. This shall include, but is not limited to, rodent traps, bait stations, bait, pesticides, chemicals, application equipment, supplies, and other pest-control materials required to effectively control rats, mice, rodents, insects, and other nuisance pests.
Routine termite control under this solicitation is intended as preventative/general pest-control treatment. Structural termite remediation, fumigation/tenting, or other major termite treatment is not included unless separately authorized by the Sta - Solicitation Attachment

- TRANSACTION FEES: The awarded vendor shall pay a transaction fee of 0.75% (.0075) of the award, not to exceed $5,000 for each award. This transaction fee shall be based on the original award amount and the awarded vendor shall be responsible for payment of the fee to Tyler Hawaii, the vendor administering the HIePRO. Payment must be made to Tyler Hawaii within thirty (30) days of receipt of invoice. The invoice is generated based on the date the award is posted.
- HAWAII GENERAL EXCISE TAX (GET): Unless otherwise stated in this solicitation, vendors shall include all applicable taxes in the price submitted. The Hawaii General Excise Tax (GET) shall not exceed 4.712% for the islands of Hawaii, Kauai, Oahu and Maui.
- ADDITIONAL FEES AND CHARGES: Vendors shall include all applicable fees, charges, surcharges, shipping/handling, delivery, or any other charges associated with this solicitation in the price submitted.
