- Add an Instruction
- Before you begin, you must be assigned as a Department Administrator in HIePRO.
- Next, login using your administrator account.
- Select 'Instructions.'
- Select 'New Instruction.'
- Enter the title of the instruction.
- In the content field, enter the description of the instruction.
- Select whether this instruction is for solicitations or awards.
- If you intend to use the same instruction for solicitations AND awards then you will need to create two instructions.
- One for solicitations and the other for awards.
- Select the method of procurement the instruction will be applied to.
- You can choose one or more methods.
- Indicate whether this instruction is mandatory.
- If you check this box, then the instruction will be added to all future solicitations or awards within your department.
- If you leave this box unchecked then the instruction will be optional for the buyer to add to solicitations or awards within your department.
- Edit an Instruction.
- Select 'Instructions.'
- You will only be able to edit instructions created within your department.
- You will not be able to edit instructions that are for all departments.
- Locate the instruction you want to edit and select 'Edit.'
- Make the necessary changes to the instruction.
- You are able to edit any of the fields including methods of procurement.
- Remove an instruction.
- Select 'Instructions.'
- You will only be allowed to remove instructions created within your department.
- Locate the instruction you want to remove and select 'Remove.'
- Confirm you want to remove the instruction.
