  • Add an Instruction
  • Before you begin, you must be assigned as a Department Administrator in HIePRO.
  • Next, login using your administrator account.
  • Select 'Instructions.'
  • Select 'New Instruction.'
  • Enter the title of the instruction.
  • In the content field, enter the description of the instruction.
  • Select whether this instruction is for solicitations or awards.
  • If you intend to use the same instruction for solicitations AND awards then you will need to create two instructions.
  • One for solicitations and the other for awards.
  • Select the method of procurement the instruction will be applied to.
  • You can choose one or more methods.
  • Indicate whether this instruction is mandatory.
  • If you check this box, then the instruction will be added to all future solicitations or awards within your department.
  • If you leave this box unchecked then the instruction will be optional for the buyer to add to solicitations or awards within your department.
  • Edit an Instruction.
  • Select 'Instructions.'
  • You will only be able to edit instructions created within your department.
  • You will not be able to edit instructions that are for all departments.
  • Locate the instruction you want to edit and select 'Edit.'
  • Make the necessary changes to the instruction.
  • You are able to edit any of the fields including methods of procurement.
  • Remove an instruction.
  • Select 'Instructions.'
  • You will only be allowed to remove instructions created within your department.
  • Locate the instruction you want to remove and select 'Remove.'
  • Confirm you want to remove the instruction.
