- General Comments
- The quotation must include shipping, handling, and taxes. Eligibility for the award is restricted to contractors who attend the conference, submit a comprehensive offer form accompanied by detailed specifications and documentation, preferably in PDF or PPT formats, and meet the requirements of Hawaii Compliance Express (HCE). Please note that the lowest bid does not necessarily guarantee selection; factors such as compliance and the performance of the air conditioning units also play a significant role in the decision-making process. For instance, four large units may adequately cover all spaces, whereas six smaller units may offer greater control over specific areas. Occasionally, it may be unnecessary to activate all units. In such cases, even if the quote for six smaller units is slightly higher, the option may be preferred due to lower overall maintenance and/or electricity costs compared to larger units. This solicitation will be updated following the Q&A session to incorporate the latest available information.
