- This solicitation is for the procurement and installation of reservoir lining for a small reservoir with the following parameters: Circular earthen reservoir, approximate Diameter 60-64ft, Height of reservoir at its lowest point is approximately 4-6ft. Embankment on upslope side is approximately 10ft. Foundation is made of soil and large boulders.
Lowest embankment must not exceed 6ft in height from bottom of reservoir.
Reservoir lining must be able to accommodate an inlet 6" pipe.
Vendor must install 6" drainage/overflow pipe.
Lining material must be minimum 40mil.
Lining must prevent water seepage and prevent vegetation from growing through.
Material to cushion the lining required to prevent punctures (type/quantity unspecified).
Perimeter of reservoir must be fenced with minimum 4ft high hog panel fence with triple dipped, 6ft, galvanized T-post to keep out ungulates. Hog panel must have 2 inch spacing at bottom. Fence must include 1 spring loaded access gate with latch and a 12" high step over.
Embankments must include minimum 3ft wide walkable space around outer perimeter of fence.
Mauka embankment must have enough space outside the perimeter fence to allow vehicles to pass.
Fill may be needed to level out embankments.
Access to the reservoir site will require the use of a 4WD vehicle on a ranch road and communication with land owner for access times.
Access road travels through sensitive areas, vendor must adhere to additional rules to prevent damage to surrounding area.
Vendor may make access road improvements for easier access if approved with project manager and land owner in advance.
No overnight camping.
Vendor must have a 20# fire extinguisher on site in the event of a fire start due to equipment/vehicles.
Site is located in a remote area; no running water, no electricity, no restroom facilities are located on site.
