- Description
- The Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation - Health Care Division (DCR-HCD) is seeking services for the removal and disposal of bio-hazardous waste. Contractor must have a current Solid Waste Permit issued by the Hawaii State Department of Health issued in their name and submit a copy with bid. Contractor shall provide Regulated Medical Waste Disposal services to include supplies, pickup, transport, and treatment on all Islands serviced. Biohazardous waste services will be needed at six (6) facility locations at the DCR-HCD Health Care Units. See attachments for specification breakdowns for each facility.
*Unit price shall be all inclusive and include the Hawaii General Excise Tax. Bags, sharp containers and other supplies/services should be included in the quote. Quotes shall be listed for all facilities. VENDOR MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO ALL FACILITIES IN STATE OF HAWAII. - Contact Person

- General Comments
- 12-month contract from 4/01/2025 through 3/31/2026 with the option to extend for two additional 12-month periods or portions thereof. *Unit price shall be all inclusive and include the Hawaii General Excise Tax. Bags, sharp containers and other supplies/services should be included in the quote. Quotes shall be listed for all facilities. VENDOR MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO ALL FACILITIES IN STATE OF HAWAII.
A walk through of the area will not be conducted. The act of submitting a bid is to be considered as full acknowledgment that the bidder is familiar with the conditions and requirements. Only bidders who upload completed Bid Form and attachments are eligible for award. Contractor's employees must gain facility clearance. Attachments must be submitted at time of bid.
