- The Department of Law Enforcement is seeking to purchase law enforcement or military armory weapons grade storage cabinets in the following sizes and specifications:
Small Rifle & Shotgun Cabinets
Dimensions: 36" w x 15" d x 84" h
Intended Use: Long arms (rifles and shotguns)
Quantity: 2
Pistol Cabinet
Dimensions: 36" w x 15" d x 84" h
Intended Use: Pistols
Quantity: 1
Large Rifle & Shotgun Cabinets
Dimensions: 42" w x 15" d x 84" h
Intended Use: Long arms (rifles and shotguns)
Quantity: 3
The following specifications are required of all cabinets:
- Law enforcement or military grade armory appropriate weapons cabinets
- Steel construction.
- Doors will be of a bi-fold design and may be retractable with multiple locking points, at least 1 hasp for the use of a padlock, and able to provide a visual inspection of weapons without opening doors.
- Points to secure to the floor, wall, and where applicable adjoining cabinets.
- Internal options for storage of rifles, shotguns, pistols, and shelving appropriate with use of cabinet as specified (i.e. five cabinets for rifles/shotguns and one for pistols only).
- Rifle and shotgun cabinets shall provide for vertical storage of weapons.
- Pistol cabinet may include cradle or peg storage options with the goal of providing space for as many pistols as possible.
- Preference will be given to internal organization systems that allow the buyer to re-configure the cabinets, including creating mixed use cabinets (i.e. long arms and pistols).
Invoice shall be made NO LATER than June within 12, 2024.
Bids shall include all taxes and shipping costs.
Specific location of delivery to Honolulu, Hawaii (zip Code 96817) will be provided prior to delivery.
Delivery shall be within 60 days of payment of invoice. Responses indicating any delivery date beyond this delivery time will be considered non-responsive rather than an acceptance of the proposed change in delivery date. Vendor acknowledges that if for some reason their proposal should be selected, the Vendor expressly acknowledges that they will be held to the specific delivery date regardless of any language to the contrary contained in the proposal.
