- The Maternal and Child Health Branch is currently seeking the services of an agency or individual to provide "Seeking Safety" classes or another related evidence-based curriculum to those incarcerated women at the Women's Community Corrections Center in Kailua, Hawaii, who are diagnosed as suffering severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) and serious mental illness (SMI). Seeking Safety is a manualized cognitive–behavioral intervention for individuals with a co-occurring history of trauma and substance use disorders.
