- Description
- The State of Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources, Division of Forestry and Wildlife requests bids for multi-kill rodent traps for deployment in remote forest
areas, to protect endangered species from rodent predation.
The traps must be compact approx. 195mm in length and 140mm in height or similar. Because rodent control will be conducted in humid, wet conditions, traps need to be completely mechanical and feature a sensitive leaf trigger that fires with the aid of a pressurized CO2 cartridge or have an equivalent firing device. Rodent control will be conducted in remote areas, with limited accessibility, traps must be able to automatically reset at least 18 or more times within a six-month period before a change of CO2 cartridge, or equivalent, is required. All line item prices for products provided by vendors must include shipping. This solicitation will include two (2) line items.
(1) 6-pack Automatic Trap Kit (A18 or similar) with counter
(2) Out-of-warranty trap replacement
Vendors interested shall provide a quote for each line item with shipping included. - Contact Person
