- Furnish and delivery of disabled parking placards for the Statewide Parking for Persons with Disabilities Program.
Long term placards shall be a High Density Polyethylene, 35 mil in thickness, 4" X 9" dimension, background color of blue placard shall be, text (international Symbol of Access), placards shall be numbered sequentially beginning with P-240-701, see attached long term placard specifications for solicitation description.
Temporary placards shall be a High Density Polyethylene, 35 mil in thickness, 4" X 9" dimension, background color of red placard shall be, text (international Symbol of Access), placards shall be numbered sequentially beginning with T-168-951, see attached temporary placard specifications for solicitation description.

- All workmanship shall be of first class quality and done in accordance with generally accepted placard standards. The placards shall be copy proof and resistant to fading, tearing, cracking, peeling, and blistering for a period of not less than five (5) years under normal conditions of use from the time of issuance to the public. The contractor shall also certify that all placards furnished conform to the specifications contained herein and shall replace all non-conforming items with others meeting these specifications without cost to the State of Hawaii. If, after meeting these specifications, placards become deteriorated under normal conditions of use, the Contractor shall replace placards at no cost to the State.
