- The Hawaii State Department of Health (DOH) Family Health Services Division (FHSD) seeks a qualified vendor to provide training and technical assistance to the Office of Primary Care and Rural Health (OPCRH) staff on how to create rational service areas—geographic areas that reflect health care seeking patterns for a majority of residents in the area based on a variety of data sources—and how to create a statewide rational service area (SRSA) plan.
This project aims to train staff on developing statewide rationale service areas (SRSAs), including training on origin-destination and Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping tools, state-level data layers, creating and testing SRSAs, developing methodology and supporting documentation, and uploading plans into information management systems. - Contact Person
