- Description
- The contracted employee must meet the following criteria to properly support Hawaii State Fusion Center (HSFC) operations:
• The selected incumbent shall have a master’s degree in a field related to the responsibilities of the position (i.e. intelligence or homeland security).
• Possess an active security clearance (Secret).
• Must have experience working in a DHS-recognized state fusion center.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience as a sworn law enforcement officer in the State of Hawaii
• Must possess extensive knowledge of the multiple intelligence platforms currently utilized by the HSFC including Tangles, Kaseware, Clear, and Alert Media.
• Must possess extensive knowledge of the four (4) main intelligence enterprise networks utilized by HSFC, the FBI Law Enforcement Enterprise Portal (LEEP), DHS Homeland Security Intelligence Network (HISN), the Western State Intelligence Network, and the Regional Information Sharing System (RISS).
• The selected incumbent shall have extensive experience administering and be capable of taking a leading role in the HSFC Suspicious Activity Reporting program (SAR) and managing the FBI eGuardian portal.
• Fluency in one of the following foreign languages: Tagalog, Japanese, Mandarin, or Korean.
• Experience in website administration and familiarity with the HSFC programs within the HSFC led- Hawaii Organized Retail Crime Alliance (HIORCA), Safe Keiki (Education), and the Hawaii Hotel and Visitor Security Association (HHVISA).
• Prior military experience with a preference for service within the INDOPACOM area of responsibility (AOR), and with extensive knowledge of the military establishment within the State of Hawaii.
